A small team in Paris, giving agents a face.
We are seven European developers living in Paris. We are fond of technology and of open source, and we built Chat4Agent because the agents we were making for our own clients on Make.com and n8n deserved a better front door than a webhook URL.
Chat4Agent is made and hosted in the European Union, and we intend to keep it fast and honest: a free plan that stays free, prices you can read, and your data where you can see it.
The team
Helmets on. The product has a face; we keep ours for the office.
Alex
Automation specialist
Alex builds the scenarios that make agents useful. He is obsessed with the customer’s experience: before a single module is placed, he has worked out what people actually expect from the conversation, and he has a rare talent for reading those expectations right. If a flow feels effortless, Alex drew it. Nights and weekends he makes electronic music, which is where the patience for a sixteen-step sequence comes from.
Zoé
Backend engineer
Zoé is the backend expert who makes things hold. She specialises in strengthening applications: the rate limits, the retries and the quiet edge cases nobody notices until the day they matter. Between releases she travels across Asia and comes back with a full notebook of ideas.
Yann
Full stack engineer
Yann works end to end — the endpoint in the morning, the screen that consumes it in the afternoon — and he is the one who notices when the two have quietly stopped agreeing. He also keeps an eye on the horizon, so the product is built for what agents will do next and not only for what they did last year. Outside work he is a passionate photographer: framing is his thing, whether it is a layout or a print.
Aymeric
Full stack engineer, critical systems and security
Aymeric designs the parts that are not allowed to fail. He comes from critical application design and cyber security, so he reads a new feature the way an attacker would before he reads it the way a user would: the auth, the sessions, the secrets and the blast radius of every mistake. He is a windsurfer, and he talks about load the way he talks about wind — you do not fight it, you read it and you trim for it.
Lukas
Senior full stack engineer
Lukas learned the trade where the stakes were already high: a payments processor, then a logistics platform moving several million events a day, then two years at a firm whose customers were all banks. He arrived with the habits that come from that — read the incident report before the feature request, assume the network will lie to you — and he is the reason our slow queries get found on a Tuesday rather than during a launch. Out of hours he is deep in the Eastern European security scene: CTF weekends, a couple of disclosed vulnerabilities to his name, and the kind of curiosity about how things break that we would much rather have on our side of the table.
Nathalie
Frontend engineer and quality lead
Nathalie builds the front end and then refuses to let it ship weak. She writes the screens you use, and she is also our quality expert and internal guardrail: every feature crosses her desk, and the ones that are not ready go back. She holds her shoes to the same standard, and they are always one season ahead of everyone else.
Gilbert
Customers, coordination and the hard questions
Gilbert is the Swiss Army knife of the team. He talks with customers, challenges the team from the inside and coordinates every sensitive project until it is done. He is also, by unanimous vote, the finest whisky expert any of us has ever met.
