Frequently asked questions
Is the free plan really free?
Yes — no credit card, no time limit. The free plan gives you a fully functional AI chat widget with unlimited conversations (fair usage). You only upgrade when you need paid-only features like branding removal, MCP/OpenAI/Mistral connections, or team seats.
What counts as a conversation?
A conversation is a continuous exchange between a visitor and your AI agent within a single session. Starting a new session or clicking "New Conversation" begins a fresh conversation.
What is the fair usage policy?
We don't hard-cap conversations on the free plan. Fair usage means not using Chat4Agent to run automated scripts or bulk traffic that disrupts the service for others. Normal chatbot usage — even high-volume — is fine.
Can I upgrade or cancel at any time?
Upgrades take effect immediately. To return to the Free plan, simply cancel your subscription — you keep all paid features until the end of your billing period (monthly or annual), then the plan resets to Free automatically. No penalties.
What is the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
Monthly billing charges your card each month and can be cancelled at any time. Yearly billing is charged once per year upfront — the total equals exactly 10 months of the monthly price (so you get 2 months free). Cancelling a yearly plan stops the next annual renewal; you keep access until the end of the year you already paid for.
Are prices including VAT?
No — all listed prices are excl. VAT. VAT is calculated at checkout based on your billing address and applied in line with EU regulations. Businesses with a valid EU VAT number can enter it at checkout.
Is there a setup fee or long-term contract?
No setup fees, no contracts. Choose monthly billing for full flexibility, or yearly to save 2 months. Cancel anytime.
Does it work with my existing Make.com or n8n workflow?
Yes — that's the whole point. Paste your existing webhook URL, run Test Connection, and your workflow starts receiving structured payloads immediately. No changes to your automation required.
